I am proud to call myself a Soldiers' Angel.I am also part of the wounded warrior project. I enjoy long walks on the beach, anything to do with nature. I love the Lord with all of my heart.
Hi Joyce..I understand the busy in life. Im always busy anymore! I work so much and when Im not working..its to the doctor for me or for Patrick. Im not sure when I will have my surgery since I have to wait on tricare to approve it..so that gonnas be a little bit. I have been listening to the news alot on my way to and from work, and of course in the evening when Patrick is home..and it saddens me when I hear of another soldier who has lost his or her life. We had 5 from the post in the past month. Its bad enough to know of the losses overseas, but then to have to turn on the TV and see what happened in Texas? What is our world coming to? God needs alot of angels doesnt he? With Patrick being ill I know that he wont deploy for a long time if ever again..but my stepson is in the Army and my worst fear is that he gets orders to Afganistan. He is getting married next month and they have a baby on the way. Patrick will finally be a grandfather of a little girl all his own! He is so happy about that! The baby is due in March. We know that its a girl and in Patricks family there are nothing but boy kids. That makes it extra special for them all! He is very close to my grandchildren, but its different when its your own blood. I understand that totally! He has a big heart, so I know that he has plenty of room to love another baby. He took me out to dinner last night for my birthday. He takes his shots on Friday, and then is sick for 3 to 4 days afterward. He figured while he was feeling well..he had better do it. Comes my birthday, which is Friday, he wont feel up to it. God Bless you Joyce...what a wonderful person you are! I miss you my friend.

The price that is paid is only outweighed by the rewards that is recieved, God bless all the Veterans as well as those that support them.
