MilClub Internet Safety Message
Thank you for checking out MilClub, the online social networking
website designed for our Military, their families and
supporters.
MilClub takes safety seriously, given the strong military presence
on the club. Therefore, special control features have been
implemented on MilClub to allow for a safer environment online.
Members are able to adjust their personal settings to decide who
can view their page and personal information. We encourage users to
to notify MilClub at:
milclub@yahoo.com of safety concerns
or suspected violations. Additionally, the “block messages” feature
prevents users from contacting another member.
Members have the ability to change these settings to allow
“everyone” to view their profile or they can continue to only allow
approved members or friends only to access their profile.
Furthermore, MilClub is designed to not accept members under the
age of seventeen, and if MilClub suspects a user is under the
required age, MilClub will delete the user’s account immediately,
as outlined in our Terms of Service.
Also our photo area is public, so please upload cautiously and use
good judgement with photos, especially children and family pics.
Members also have the ability to upload photos into private friends
only photo albums. All users are encouraged to protect themselves
and their friends at MilClub and everywhere else online.
Although it is not our responsibility to monitor behavior of a
MilClub member, we encourage our members to practice responsible
internet use and actively seek out education on how to surf safely
online. Along the lines of using common sense online and good
judgment, we encourage users under the age of seventeen to talk to
their parents immediately if someone says or does something online
to make you feel uncomfortable or threatened. To learn more about
our practices and policies please read our Privacy Policy and Terms
of Service.

Sincerely, Your friends at MilClub
