It's funny, I've never before experienced such aggravation over a simple graphic. I made a silly mistake, posted an unsigned graphic in the middle of the confusion and turmoil of 5 November and have been fighting since that moment to reclaim my creation.
I don't make money from my work, I do this as a way of expressing my respect, appreciation and emotion. I very literally have nothing more to offer but my talent, technical ability and time to my troops and their families. I would trade every bit of it for the opportunity to fight at their side but alas, I'm far to aged.
Why on Earth do people find it necessary to claim credit for someone else's work ...I'm thankful that I have this community and these friends that KNOW what I create and why I do it. I am still creating awareness graphics for Ft. Hood but it's a shame that I must copyright each and digitally watermark my 'thank you' so others cannot claim to have spoken my words first.
Sorry for the rant, it's been an experience these past few days but nothing in comparison to the days our men and women at Ft. Hood have traversed. Thanks Barb & thanks to all of you here at MilClub ...it's nice to be appreciated!
